Homestyle Tomato Sauce

Simple, fresh, and delicious. This will be the best tomato sauce you ever had. What makes this sauce so great is the process and development of the sauce that you get to experience. To watch beautifully fresh ingredients break down into an explosive tomato sauce is an incredible culinary adventure.

Heres what ya need:

1 white onion, diced

3-4 large tomotoes

italian parsely

3 cloves garlic, minced

bay leaf

oregano

olive oil

s+p

Heres what you do:

1. Boil pot of salted water. Blanch tomatoes for 5 minutes until skin breaks. Remove and place aside.

2. Dice onion and sweat in pot over medium high with olive oil and s+p. After 5 minutes when they begin to soften and get translucent add the minced garlic. Simmer another 5 minutes.

3. Peel skin of tomatoes and add to the onion mixture. Crush the tomatoes with a potato masher and well broken up. Add a dice of olive and give a good store being sure to break up the tomato and incorporate the olive oil. Add the bay leaf and s+p to taste.

4. All this to simmer for at least 45 minutes – an hour

    stage 3 needs attention…
    Peel skin of tomatoes and add to the onion mixture. ( so I add the peels to the onion mixture?)
    Crush the tomatoes with a potato masher and well broken up.(guessing Until well broken up?)
    Add a dice of olive and give a good store being sure to break up the tomato and incorporate the olive oil. Add the bay leaf and s+p to taste.
    (dash not dice, Olive Oil not olive, and stir not store)
